between this triangular area. Cappadocia is the ancient and modern name of an extraordinary region in Central Anatolia. Cappadocia can be viewed from three different aspects; Natural, Historical and Religious...Toros mountains arose before sixty million of years in geological evoulution. When the volcanoes were active, the lava which poured out covered all previously. It is a geological wonderland. We called ''PERİ BACALARI''. I translated it 'Spirit chimney'. Peri Bacaları was evoulved by wind effects and rain.
People have settled there for a long time since paleotitic period. The Hittites settled Cappadocia from 1800 BC to 1200 BC after which smaller kingdoms held power. Cappadocia includes lots of civilization.
